Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website ("Site") or using any Horizon Sliding Doors & Windows ("Horizon," "we") services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
2. Estimates & Quotes
All estimates and quotes provided through this Site or in person are non-binding until both parties have signed a formal written contract. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final pricing is based on actual measurements, materials selected, and any conditions discovered during pre-installation inspection.
3. Service Area
Horizon services Contra Costa County and Alameda County, California. Service to other areas is at our discretion and may include additional charges.
4. Installation & Workmanship
Horizon warrants its installation labor for ten (10) years from the date of project completion. Product warranties are passed through from the manufacturer (typically 10–20 years for premium brands). The labor warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, structural movement, acts of nature, or modifications made by parties other than Horizon.
5. Permits & Code Compliance
When permits are required, Horizon obtains and pays for them as part of the project scope. All work is performed in compliance with current California Residential Code and applicable local codes.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in the signed project contract. Standard terms typically include a deposit at signing, a progress payment upon material delivery, and final payment upon project completion and walkthrough.
7. Cancellation
Customers have the right to cancel a contract within three (3) business days of signing per California law. Cancellations after this period are subject to recovery of materials ordered and labor performed.
8. Website Content
All content on this Site — text, images, logo, designs — is the property of Horizon Sliding Doors & Windows and is protected by copyright. The Horizon logo and brand identity are trademarks. Use without written permission is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
Horizon's liability under any contract is limited to the contract value. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, except as required by California law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms or any project contract shall be resolved in the courts of Contra Costa County, California.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
